Internal cages keep loose equipment separate from the crew seating area. Crew carriers also include exterior compartments for transporting chainsaws, fuel, fuses, and other hazardous materials. Seatbelts at every seating position secure passengers, and interior and exterior perimeter lighting provide added visibility.
